![]() If it's PHP and open source I can also modify it as much as I want to customize it. Ideally if it saves coding sessions I could start working on a project on my laptop, and start back right where I left off by opening it up on my PC. I want to be able to login using a friend's computer if I need to fix something, or if I'm traveling and don't want to bring my laptop. I love the idea of having my IDE in a browser tab and being able to use it at any time on any computer without installing anything (including tablets, a Chromebook, etc.). These days with HTML5 and Javascript, an online IDE can be every bit as fully functional as desktop software. ![]() Sure, there's no reason an online IDE couldn't be made to work with xdebug (I don't typically use debuggers myself, but I know some people find them useful).
